Creating an Assured Future for All

Our company policies stand firmly against child labour. Over the past years, Ambadi has taken crucial steps to eliminate child labour from the carpet industry. Ensuring that all workers are paid a fair wage, children of carpet weavers get regular schooling, and employee benefits from proper working conditions, fostering a safe and healthy workspace.

Health Screening Camp

Creating a Better Future, One Community at a Time

Health camps helps us ensure the basic medical care of the weaver’s community. The benefits include periodic free medical check-ups and vaccinations for their children and their families, ensuring the basic medical care of the weaver’s community. Regular health screening camps helped us become closer to our weaver community.

More than 2500 villagers benefited from the free health camp conducted by Ambadi around the remote villages of Bhadohi. They were examined and covered by specialists in gynaecology, paediatrics, eye care, ENT, dentistry, and general surgery. Each day, we’re growing and thriving in our vision to help more people in remote villages in the future.

Eye Screening Camps

Helping the World See Better

We’re committed to helping our weavers in every way possible. Free eye screening camps are a part of our weavers' benefit plan. As a leading flooring and home decors manufacturer, we are grateful to be able to help our weaver's community in this way, and we are proud to have successfully run five screening camps in the remote villages around Bhadohi.

Cataract Surgery in the Eye

Giving the Gift of Sight

Ambadi continues to do everything we can to support craftsmen and our weavers. Free eye cataract surgery is a part of that. The five eye screening camps that were held in remote villages near Bhadohi resulted in the identification of poor eye sight in more than 250 people, and over 130 cataract surgeries were performed to help them regain their vision.

Fair Remuneration

We Believe in Equal Pay for All

We believe that the weavers are the backbone of our company and they deserve to be fairly compensated for their craftsmanship. We follow the fair remuneration or minimum wages in accordance with the standard local wages established by the local legal authorities. This is ensured by periodic internal audits, legal bodies, and third-party inspections under various certifications, such as SA 8000, SEDEX, and Good Weave. In addition, we have registered our employees in the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) schemes.
